Great news from the last week! The Coalition awarded its first three service grants, fundraising surpassed $50,000, and 50 isolation gowns were created for the Ramsey County Care Center.
Grants were for $5000 each and went to the following non-profit groups:
- Community Support Center for financial assistance to families in the communities of New Brighton, Mounds View, North Oaks, Shoreview, and Arden Hills affected by COVID-19 crisis. Aid will be used to prevent families from being evicted from their homes. CSC also provides financial counselling, mediation, and resource referral to affected families.
- Keystone Community Services for both emergency food and crisis housing assistance. Food purchased will be distributed through Keystone's Foodmobile at two new sites in the Roseville area. Housing crisis support funds will help Roseville area families stay in their home or gain access to affordable housing.
- Neighborhood House for emergency housing assistance to families in the Roseville and Mounds View school districts affected by the COVID-19 crisis. Funds will be used to help families remain current with rent, preventing eviction.
Stay tuned! More details and photos of these milestone events are on the way!
